Begonia Rex Rondeau is mainly a leaf plant, therefore proper care is required to fully appreciate its beauty. Moreover, apply a permeable potting mix in a shallow pot and feed the plant on a regular basis. Maintain a moist environment for the plant, but avoid overwatering. Directly spraying the leaves should be avoided since standing water can induce powdery mildew, which is a tragedy on a plant grown for its gorgeous foliage. However, finding the ideal circumstances for Begonia to show off its finest leaf colour can be difficult. In addition, use liquid fertiliser at half level or half strength every two weeks. Rex begonias, on the other hand, can be reproduced by pinning a leaf to the bedding mix and creating tiny holes in the veins of the leaf, or by putting a leaf (with a petiole) direct into the soil.
