PLANT CARE ( Xanthosoma Lindenii )

	Pretty heat-loving plant. In the summer: 64,4-82,4°F, in winter it is better to keep the temperature at least 59°F.
	Xanthosoma Lindenii prefers scattered light, partial shade. It is necessary to make shade from bright light.
	It is preferable to maintain a humidity of at least 60%.
	In spring and summer, plenty of soft water at room temperature 2-3 times a week, in winter not more than 1 time in 7-8 days.

ADDITIONAL CARE

Xanthosoma Lindenii enjoys a well-drained but moist, rich organic mix. Remember to try to stay away from wet, mucky, or dry, sandy soils. To help establish your new plants, fertilize sparingly at least 6 inches away from the base, tri-annually with a slow time release 15-5-10. It is necessary to remove damaged leaves in a timely manner.  Young Xanthosoma Lindenii plants are transplanted every year in April, sometimes 2 times a year, if they grow very fast. Adult plants are transplanted once in 2-3 years when the rhizomes completely fill the pot. You should be careful when handling the plant since all parts of the plant are poisonous.
