The Philodendron Imperial Green needs clean leaves for photosynthesis in order to feed itself. Regularly wipe your plant’s leaves with a damp soft cloth or give it a full shower every now and again to remove any dust that has accumulated. This will ensure you will have a healthy pest-free plant. The Philodendron Imperial Green is not typically prone to pests or diseases. However, you may encounter mealybugs and aphids. Mealybugs can be dealt with by dipping cotton buds into rubbing alcohol and wiping the mealybugs. You may notice yellow patches on the leaves of your plant. This can develop due to a change in temperature or environment.
