Ficus Triangularis Variegated requires a very humid, moist environment. Spray regularly, especially if the plant is surrounded by heated air. During the growing season, water moderately with lukewarm water. tolerate a wide range of soil conditions provided they drain well. However, since you are growing the plant inside a container you’ll want to get it off the best start possible by planting it in a good soil mix with fertility. Pruning is not necessary for Ficus Triangularis Variegated, but you can trim or pinch it to give it a particular shape. If it’s not in quite enough light and the branches get long and lanky, you can pinch them back periodically to help them stay more full and bushy. Additionally, feed this ficus in spring and summer with any fertilizer formulated for use on houseplants or container plants. However, be sure to follow the directions on the product packaging. Never apply more fertilizer than recommended. Doing so can cause damage to the roots which can be fatal.
