	Begonia Elatior prefers daily indoor temperatures of 75 degrees with a low of 60 degrees at night.
	These plants do well with indirect sun or even partial shade.
	Prefers humidity between 50% and 75%.
	The best care for watering is to water it often enough that it doesn’t dry out between waterings.

Begonia Elatior | Wax Begonia hybrids do best in medium-light, well-ventilated rooms. Proper watering is important for Begonia plants. The soil should remain moist, but not too wet. Water begonias at the base to avoid leaf spots and the possibility of fungal diseases on flowers. Allow the top 20 cm or so of soil to dry out before watering again. Moreover, keep proper airflow to prevent powdery mildew.

Wax begonia prefers properly dissolved nutrients or fertilizers mixed with a little compost and peat moss to increase nutrition. After flowering, it is important to start applying fertilizer on a routine, but not excessive, basis. The recommended frequency for applying liquid fertilizer is once a month. However, the Begonia Elatior is sensitive to overfertilization, and high fertilizer quantities can damage the leaves. Dead flowers and leaves should be pruned as soon as they begin to turn brown and die after flowering to promote new growth. Dead flowers and leaves should be removed to avoid them falling into thick bushes and rotting later, causing disease. It is necessary to trim branches and buds with poor growth, such as yellowing, dryness, and thinness, at the end of the flowering season.
