PLANT CARE ( Aloe Vera | Indoor )
Average room temperatures 18-24°C (65-75°F) will be perfect for Aloe vera.
Keep the plant in a bright location, with some direct sun in winter. If it is moved outdoors for the summer, make the move a gradual one.
The Aloe Vera plant does not require any extra humidity and can handle dry air.
During the active growing period, Aloe vera should be well watered and allowed to dry before watering again. |
ADDITIONAL CARE
Water Aloe Vera | Indoor nicely. The soil of the plant has to be allowed to dry before being watered. Whilst the plant is watered, the soil should be thoroughly drenched, however, the water has to be allowed to empty freely from the soil. Repot young plants in spring when they are outgrowing their pots. These types of succulents freely produce offsets. Keep Aloe Vera | Indoor plants from getting overcrowded by propagating offsets as they begin to form rosettes. Use cactus potting mix or add 1 part coarse sand with 2 parts all-purpose potting mix. Cut off new offsets in spring or early summer. Allow the cut portion to dry for a day or two to prevent the sap from oozing, then pot it in barely moist sandy potting mix.
