PLANT CARE ( Aeschynanthus Rasta Krol Blade )
Average room temperatures 65-75°F – 18-24°C.
Bright light with some direct sun in winter. Plants that don’t bloom aren’t getting enough light.
Try to keep relative humidity around 50% or higher.
Water sparingly over winter and spring-summer. Wait for the compost to dry slightly before watering. |
ADDITIONAL CARE
Aeschynanthus Rasta Krol Blade likes to dry out occasionally between watering. It does not like to stay or sit in water or get too dry. Aeschynanthus that are watered too often usually rot, meaning the plants will die. Originally from tropical conditions, Aeschynanthus Rasta Krol Blade does like high humidity. After flowering, it is desirable to trim shoots. With age, shoots are stretched and bared, in connection with which a periodic renewal of the plant is required. In winter the plant is at rest: it does not bloom or grow. The plant is suitable for hanging baskets. Pressed to the soil shoots can take root and begin to branch.
