ADDITIONAL CARE
During the fall season, plant the Zephyranthes Rosea | Rain Lily in well-draining soil. This plant prefers soil that is rich, holds humidity well, and is slightly acidic. Moving and planting rain lily bulbs may be done at any time of year as long as the bulbs are planted rapidly and carefully. However, regular watering is required to maintain the rain lily’s grass-like leaves lush and healthy. Leaves may die back during periods of lack of care, although it normally grows back once watering is started.
Rain lilies do not require fertilizer, but if you plant them in hard soil, put a layer of compost over the soil before they grow in the spring. Rain lilies grow in pots. An inch of soil should cover the tops of the bulbs. Although rain lily bulbs are often planted 2-4 inches apart in the ground, when grown in pots, they can be put closer together since they love to be crowded.
