ADDITIONAL CARE
Wrightia Milky Way is quite a low-maintenance plant. As long as it receives sufficient bright light or sunshine, regular watering, and occasional fertilizing, it will reward you with profuse blooming and luscious green foliage. It thrives in humidity and sandy soil. Wrightia Milky Way will benefit from fertilizer mixed into the sand and does like to be moist on a daily basis but not waterlogged. Digging in a mulch when planting will help with keeping the roots cool and the soil moist. Additionally. you can use it in your garden as a hedge or background plant. In the right conditions, it will flower for most of the year. It also likes well-drained loamy soil, preferably slightly acidic. The plant has a rather poor tolerance for salt spray. However, it can be propagated by stem cuttings, with some difficulty: marcotting or air-layering may be an easier option. Some light pruning or pinching is required if the plant becomes leggy. If heavier pruning is required, it is best carried out in early spring. It makes a good container plant, and may also be used as a hedging plant.
