ADDITIONAL CARE
Transplant Tecoma Capensis | Red Tecoma | Cape Honeysuckle annually, gradually increasing the size of the pot. For the formation of lush bushes, pruning is necessary in the spring and pinching during the whole period of growth. Still, it is worth remembering that the inflorescences appear on the shoots of the current year. Since the cape trumpet flower shrub grows quickly and often scrambles up the nearby plants, walls, fences, or other structures, it can get an untidy appearance, and the foliage needs to be trimmed. Additionally, prune the plant in the late winter months to promote new growth and enhance the production of flowers. However, the plant can tolerate and respond well to heavy pruning. Apart from trimming and pruning, which is also not essential, Tecoma Capensis, Red Tecoma, and Cape Honeysuckleor don’t require care and maintenance; they are easy to grow and low-maintenance plants.
