The Rubber Plant | Ficus Elastica Tineke requires a warm, humid environment. Spray on a regular basis, especially if the plant is in a warm environment. Water regularly with lukewarm water during the growth season. Rubber plants can handle a broad variety of soil conditions as long as they drain properly. However, because you’ll be growing the plant in a pot, you’ll want to give it the ideal start possible by putting it in a fertile soil mix.
Feed with a dilute, liquid houseplant fertiliser every few weeks during the growing season to ensure healthy growth on those beautiful, glossy leaves. These quickly plants benefit from regular trimming to keep a neat shape, reduce excessive growth, and promote the growth of fresh, healthy leaves. Remove any curly stems or leaves that appear to be unhealthy. Any healthy stems that are removed in order to achieve a more equal shape might be utilised to propagate a new plant.
