Water when the soil is about 50-75% dry. Water thoroughly until excess water flows from the drainage hole into the saucer.

ADDITIONAL CARE

Peperomia roso, also known as Emerald Ripple Pepper or Radiator Plants, can be easily propagated by taking leaf cuttings. If you wish to multiply your plants or share them with others, make a cut on the stem below a leaf. Place it in the water. After a week, roots will begin to develop. Once the roots have formed, transfer the cutting into the soil. Keep it consistently moist. To maintain its shape and pattern, trim the plant evenly. You can also use a mist spray bottle and a soft cloth to dust off the leaves.

The best time to prune your radiator plant is, during the weeks of spring when it can recover and grow vigorously in the months ahead. It is important to use clean and sharpened tools in order to avoid any damage or infection to the plant. Additionally removing any diseased leaves will contribute to plant health and appearance.

If your plant is weak due to growing conditions, it may become easy to attack by whiteflies, mealybugs, or spider mites. To identify if your plant is infested with mealybugs, look for a coating on the stems or bottoms of the leaves. If you see any clusters or little fuzzy bugs, it indicates that your plant is being plagued by mealybugs. Smoothly remove the insects with a soft cloth or cotton swab. Giving proper care and regular inspection of your plant can help prevent future infestations.
