Peltophorum Inerme | Copperpod | Yellow Poinciana | Yellow Flame Tree performs best in large, open spaces and full sunlight. Plant the tree in a big landscape where it has room to spread; the roots are sturdy enough to lift asphalt. Also, keep in mind that the tree drops spent blooms and seed pods that require raking. The Peltophorum inerme benefits from consistent moisture during the first growing season. After that time, young trees appreciate watering once or twice per week during dry weather. Well-established trees require very little supplemental irrigation. Flowering plants need access to bright sunlight to remain healthy and blooming. An east-facing balcony is the best place for plants in Indian conditions. Try keeping them in bright sunlight but also where they get a little cover from the harsh afternoon sun. Some plants which are a little tender tend to burn due to the same. Fertilize the plant once in 2-3 weeks during its blooming period. Do not fertilize it in winters.
