PLANT CARE ( Hoya Spp )

	You will need a range of between 18°C – 27°C / 65°F – 80°F for optimal growing temperatures.
	This plant will need a reasonably lightroom in order to actually grow, although it will still get by even if you pick a shadier spot.
	Average room (around 40% relative humidity). Dry air isn’t a problem with this succulent.
	Water thoroughly spring through fall, allowing the potting mix to dry out a bit between waterings.

ADDITIONAL CARE

Since this Hoya Spp is a vine, it can get a little out of hand especially if you’re not putting on a trellis. At this point, you’ve got to prune the part of the stem that seems out of proportion. Cut it back down to its node to achieve the kind of shape you want the plant to have. Hoya Spp will normally produce a sticky sap at the cut portion. Those heart-shaped leaves that are discoloured and diseased should be pruned as well. This will allow for new leaves to grow and flourish. This is the portion where the flowers of your valentine some growers don’t feel the need to transfer it to a larger container.
