Most Dracaena Gold Dream varieties prefer similar care. They like bright, indirect sunlight but do well in low light. They are drought-tolerant, so make sure to let the top half of the soil dry completely before watering with distilled water because they are sensitive to chlorine in most tap water. Most varieties don’t require much humidity and can tolerate a range of temperatures. Dracaena Gold Dream plant care involves keeping the soil of houseplant dracaena moist, but never soggy. Drooping or yellowing leaves indicate over-watering or poor drainage. Appropriate fertilization is also a part of how to care for a dracaena. Feed every two weeks in spring and summer with a balanced houseplant fertilizer. Reduce fertilization to once a month during fall.
