	Temperatures of 18-29°C (65- 85°F) are ideal, but the plant really needs minimum winter heat of 15°C (60°F) to look happy.
	Provide bright filtered light in spring, summer and autumn. During the winter the brightest possible light, including direct sunlight is best.
	High humidity is also essential; plants should be stood on trays of damp pebbles.
	Water Dieffenbachia seguine moderately, enough to make the entire mixture moist, but allow the mixture to dry out between waterings.

Overwatering is a common problem with many houseplants and the houseplant is no exception.
