ADDITIONAL CARE
Keep your Calathea Stromanthe Triostar soil consistently moist, but not soggy. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering again. The plant may require less water in winter than in summer, so check the soil often when you first get it home, and as the seasons change to figure out a watering rhythm that works. Feed your plant with standard houseplant fertilizer diluted to half-strength once per month in the spring and summer. Avoid fertilizing in the winter, when the plant goes dormant. Calathea Stromanthe Triostar plants should be repotted every couple of years or when you notice roots growing out of the bottom of the pot. It’s best to repot in early spring before new growth has appeared. When repotting, use light, peat-based potting soil.
