	It thrives well in average room temperatures between 65 – 75ºF / 18 – 24ºC and no lower than 60ºF / 15ºC.
	It flourishes best in bright indirect sunlight or filtered sunlight to partial shade. Keep your plant out of direct sunlight.
	Humidity levels need to be moderate to high for this plant.
	Water regularly, during the growing season. Keep soil constantly moist but never water-logged.

Calathea Picturata Argentea | Silver Variegated foliage plants in general need access to bright indirect sunlight. Avoid keeping them in direct sunlight as it can cause leaves to burn due to extreme sunlight in the afternoon. Make sure watering is done once the soil goes dry. Although the soil can remain moist, it should not turn soggy/wet. Calathea Picturata Argentea | Silver Variegated requires a standard well balanced potting mix that drains easily. A good blend would be a generic potting mix with added perlite and orchid bark. Calathea Picturata can be sensitive to fertiliser and if the mix is too strong it can cause burning on the leaves. To prevent this we would recommend diluting the fertiliser and using it on your plant approximately once a month during the growing season.
