	The ideal temperature range for Calathea Ornata plants is 65°F to 80°F (18° – 27°C).
	The plants thrive in medium to low light and keep plants out of direct sunlight.
	Keep humidity levels high when growing plants indoors.
	Water the plant whenever the top 1” (2.5 cm) of the potting mix has dried.

ADDITIONAL CARE

Grow the Calathea Ornata in well-draining potting soil and water the plant enough to moisten the soil. The plant thrives in medium light, away from direct sunlight, high humidity at 50%, and average room temperatures of between 65°F and 80°F (18°C – 27°). Fertilize monthly during the growing season with a diluted liquid houseplant fertilizer.  If you notice that the beautiful leaf colours of your Calathea Ornata are fading, then it means that your plant is receiving too much direct sun that it’s starting to burn the leaves. Place your Calathea Medallion in an area where the sun doesn’t shine too much, like in your bathroom or kitchen, where the sunlight is just enough to keep your plant alive.
